You can make sure that your little one doesn’t get too close to the fireplace with this extra flexible BabyDan OLAF XXX Wide safety gate. It’s a wall mounted safety gate so you need to fasten it to the wall with screws. You can extend the gate as much as you need and in many different ways to fit your home. You can use both small and large sections that you buy separately. The safety gate can be opened and closed either way by adults with just one so it’s easy for you to pass through it.
When used as a fire surround, always place the gate minimum 75 cm (29.6”) away from the source of heat/fire and minimum 90 cm (35.5”) from open fire
Since every fireplace/wood burning stove reaches different temperatures, the placing is only intended asa guide line. Test your own unit at maximum heat output before placing the gate. If the gate is hot to touch, move gate further from heat source than the recommended minimum distance
Should it not be possible to keep the recommended distances, separate sections are available at your supplier
